Job Description:

A leading national surveying consultant is expanding their coverage in the South East by expanding a regional office. They are a recognised and respected multi disciplinary consultancy that provide a full spectrum of services across many industries including; Commercial, Education, Health Care, Industrial, and Social Housing. Due to an influx of instructions through 2012, they are looking to recruit a proven and Professional Quantity Surveyor/Team Leader with a proven reputation in the Essex/North London region.

The post offers a good variety of work including;

• Project Management,
• Bills of Quantities,
• Tender Evaluations,
• ?Budgets and Estimating,
• Contract Administration,
• Sum analysis,
• Cost planning,
• Dispute resolution and
• Working with blue chip clients on modernisation their portfolios.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will be qualified to at least an MRICS level, have previous experience in project management and looking to join a successful practice. Loyal and locally based candidates with a PQS background, average project value experience of ?500k -?5m, and at least 5 years PQE ideally within healthcare and education will be given priority.

Please note that because of the nature of their client base, the client is only considering candidates that aren?t in need of relocation.
